| Extra details | TA bottle holder bits and a copy Moleni bottle from America. I rebuilt it over the winter as it had wrong bottom bracket in it, odd cable clips and wrong headset bearings fitted. It has been repainted in the last 4 years. Similar bike to Eddy Merckx 1972, he always had white handle bar tape, gum hoods ect. which are impossible to keep clean. He also had more drilling on chainring / calipers. I think he is 60 this year,and that there is a celebration at a museum in Flanders, Belgium this summer with the Retro Ronde which Im planning to ride, I have owned it for a year,I have a wool jersey, shorts and period hat. |
