| Extra details | I bought the frame in a sorry state from the north of England last year. It had no transfers or head badge and had been hand painted orange 20-odd years ago and ridden around as a hack bike since. I had it soda blasted and luckily it revealed there was little damage. A few small dents, the seat tube had a small split rear of the seat lug where someone had hammered in a 26.8mm seatpin and the mudguard eyes had been cut off the front drop outs. Cliff Shrubb did the metalwork brilliantly, Prestige in Mexborough did the chroming, Speed Bicycles in Switzerland supplied the decals and Argos the paint. |
