Lightweight Catalogues
Containing a selection of classic
lightweight catalogues of good quality. They will be produced
to
fit a normal screen width but clicking on the image may produce a
larger version if necessary. This larger version may be constrained to
your screen size and thus appear no different. A further
click on
this image should result in a larger clearer image but of course it
will be larger than your screen so you will have to scroll from side to
site or up and down to see all of the page but it will be more legible.
If you have a wide screen you may only need to scroll up and
down.
More catalogues
are available on the combined National Cycle Museum/Veteran-Cycle Club
Library site at
http://www.cyclemuseum.org.uk/library/
Friends of the
Museum and
Members of the Veteran-Cycle Club have free access after registration
for the site. Membership forms are available for
download.
The alternative Day visitors link provides a listing of all the
available items from which a selection can be added to a shopping cart
and downloaded following payment at the rate of £3.50 per
15Mb. The advantage of joining up as a Friend or Member is
that
there is no limit what you can download for free and you will get a
regular newsletter by email that sets out the new additions.
As of March 2010 this is a new section so will take a while to build
up. We shall only upload good quality images, not copies of
copies of copies, etc. However many brochures from the
fifties
and sixties would not show the one feature most are looking for, the
lugs. This is due to the printing methods used then, often
half-tone blocks. The only brochures showing lug profiles
clearly
are the ones using larger line illustrations or detail shots of the
lugs.
