Sunday 18 March - Fishbourne  Season  Opener Hants)
From  Fishbourne nr. Chichester. 10.00 for 10.30 depart.
A very easy and relaxed amble around the flatlands of Chichester Harbour to kick off our 2012 season, lunch as usual on Thorny Island.

Sunday 8 April - Meon Valley Easter Tour (Hants)
From Bishops Waltham, Hants. 09.30 for 10.00 depart.
Our annual venture around the ups and downs of the scenic Meon Valley, with a lunch stop at one of the local hostelries, before heading back to the Café at Waltham.

Sunday 29 April - Clarendon Way (Hants)
From Kings Sombourne 09.30 for 10.00 depart.
A chance to explore some parts of west Hampshire on this slightly undulating ride, an area that we rarely visit so come along for the experience!

Sunday 6 May - Major Nichols Ride (and invitation for other Black Country and West Midlands marques)
Meet in car park of gardens opposite Bobbington/Wolverhampton  Airport at 1000.  The route is on windy hilly country lanes 12 or 20 miles.

Wednesday 9 May - Spitfire Ride.  Mid-week-special (Hants0
From the (Fox Inn). North Waltham Hants. Meet for lunch, 14.00 depart.
Gentle saunter around the lanes of north Hampshire, afternoon tea stop at Lasham airfield, then back to the Fox for a pint or whatever!

Sunday 20 May - The Reading Lightweight Ride (V-CC), Theale near Reading
The one to arrange your dates round. The UK's longest running lightweight ride.  Meet at Theale Village Hall at 10am for ride, jumble and social get-together.

Sunday 20 May -  Leominster V-CC Grasstrack event 
Morning sees a 25 mile Regularity Ride from 10.00 then return to Leominster Grange for 14.00 start. Events for all classes of bikes, tandems,trikes with some novelty events for the young in heart who are old enough to forget themselves.

Sunday 20 May - Rotrax Run (Hants)
From Cheriton nr, Alresford Hants 09.45 for 10.15 depart.
Fairly hilly little route to test out the Rotrax, so low gears and good brakes required, all other marques of course most welcome.

A flat ride of 30+ miles starting at the Trumpington Road Park & Ride, Cambridge. Just off J. 11 of M11

Friday 8, Saturday 9, Sunday 10 June - The Bates Weekend (Hants)
Church Farm Camping and Caravan Site, Sixpenny Handley, Dorset. Friday afternoon run with visit to local brewery.  Saturday and Sunday - app. 35 mile runs with the option of shorter sightseeing runs. Social events/meals over the weekend. Bates cycles encouraged but other classic lightweights welcome.

Sunday 1 July - “Cycling Cimon’s  casual climbs and coasting” (Hants)
From New Alresford Hants 09.30 for 10.00 depart. A brand new ride taking us north of Alresford for a nice change, and also partaking in a little off road for that extra bit of variety! May be a tad undulating so perhaps bring some gears.

Sunday 22 July - Wealden Wander (Hants)
From Petworth, West Sussex 09.30 for 10.00 depart. Another new ride, this time taking in the unexplored [that is by us] country scene in and around Petworth. Lunch will be at our old favourite the Blue Ship at The Haven, best to come equipped with gears, as part two could be up and down!

Sunday 12 August - East Wiltshire (Hants)
Start west of Wilton 09.30 for 10.00 depart. Easy paced undulating amble along the traffic free lanes of this part of rural Wiltshire, good village pub for lunch, followed by equally pleasant tea stop, nice relaxing ride this one.

Wednesday 22 August - Flower Pots Perennial mid-week-favourite (Hants)
From [Flower Pots Inn] Cheriton nr Alresford Hants, meet for lunch depart 14.00. Our annual mid Hampshire afternoon out, nice lunch, tea stop at Mid Hants Railway, charming route, then back to the Pots for some home brew!

Sunday 2 September - The Midhurst Classic (Hants)
From Midhurst West Susex 10.00 for 10.30 depart. Its back to Sussex again for the sections take on the Paris Roubaix, for they don’t make lanes like that anymore! But seriously it’s a great ride with the backdrop of the south downs and its famous two pub stop.

Sunday 9 September - The Ephgrave Ride, Cambridge
A hillier ride of 30+ miles starting 10am at Whittlesford Parkway, near to Duxford Air Museum

Friday, Saturday, Sunday 14, 15 and 16 September  "The First Kent Lightweight Weekend" (Pre 1970 preffered but others welcome)
Venue St Nicholas at Wade campsite in the Isle of Thanet - camping, caravans, camper vans, hook ups. A picturesque village in relatively flat area, two pubs both with food 200m, Saturday evening meal together in pub. Rides on The Kent coast ,Margate, Broadstairs and Whitstable etc,a ride to Canterbury and some nice lanes. Friday evening ride,  Saturday main ride of approx. 38 miles, Sunday has either short or longer ride to suit

Sunday 23 September - Three Rivers Run (Hants)
From [The Three Crowns] at Whaddon nr Salisbury. 10.00 for 10.30 depart.
Now for something completely different, coffee at Salisbury Cathedral, then on to The Black Horse at Great Durnford for lunch, and then exploring parts of the Wylye Valley, before wiggling our way back to The Three Crowns.

Sunday 23 September - Fishbourne Season Finale (Hants)
From Fishbourne nr Chichester 10.00 for 10.30 depart. Our traditional closing event of the season with an easy jaunt in and around Bosham and Chidham, lunch as usual on Thorney Island.
