Purchased at
Phillips auction in August 2000. The catalogue said it was a
Reg
Harris bike. It was in fairly good condition. Tom Jeffery
rebuilt
the wheels with stainless double butted spokes which were tied and
soldered. The roller chain was replaced with a block
chain.
The handlebars, stem and cranks were rechromed. The history
of
this bike is unknown, but I enjoy riding it. It gets an
airing
occasionally, usually at V-CC events such as Herne Hill Fun Day and
Halesowen.
