finish is as purchased from Mercian in 1976. I first saw this machine a
few years ago and fell in love with it. I lost track of the owner
but recently made contact and he was willing to sell knowing it would
be kept and looked after. For some reason he had hand-painted over the
front forks with red paint and I spent hours carefully working it back to the original colour. Allen key fitting for seat post clamp on seat lug is Imperial 7/32" as is found on some early machines before metric became the norm. This is one of my 'Fixie' indulgences and not constrained by the sites normal parameters - I can get away with it being 'the boss'! |

Brooks Swallow Saddle
Stronglight 49 5-pin alloy cranks with TA 49T alloy ring and Shimano SPD pedals
There is only one position on the 5 bolts which will give equal spacing of the arms either side of cranks
Check this before installing and tightening all the bolts - been there, done that!
