Bill Hurlow designed
the lugs for this Condor in 1954 while he was working for Condor on a
self-employed basis.
He
may have been influenced by the early F H Grubb Perfection Exquisite
lugwork which he would have been acquainted with when he worked at
Holdsworth when they purchased the ex-Grubb stock in 1951.
This machine has a very rare alloy Mafac adjustable brake hanger (see image below) |
